Father’s Day is right around the corner and did I hear you say you were getting Dad ANOTHER tie? Really? Time to think outside the box a little bit. Dad has done a lot for you this year so reward him with something he will really LOVE.
1.
Guitar Lessons. Yep, I happen to know that Dad has wanted to know how to play guitar for years and would love to be able to play well enough to sit by the bonfire this summer and lead a family sing-along. Learn and Master’s 25-disc video training course for guitar (acoustic or electric, by the way) will help Dad fulfill his life long dream of being a “rocker”.
2. Not your ordinary golf gift – Cleatskins Golf shoe covers. I know, it sounds crazy but Cleatskins covers quickly go over your golf shoes – protecting the cleats, preventing slips on non-grassy surfaces, keeping the dirt out the car, and making the transition from the course to the clubhouse quicker than ever! Perfect Father’s Day Golf Gift. Cleatskins Golf. Only $24.95.
Need something a little more fun for your favorite golfer? Check out the funniest golf club head covers ever – they are called Buttheads and are plush covers for your golf clubs that look like various animals rummaging upside down through your golf bag – you have to see them for yourself but they are hilarious. Personally, I think the cow is just priceless!
3.
Retro Bowling Shirt or Poker Shirt – Retro is seriously in style these days and Dad would gladly sport a new shirt for poker night, a Friday night bowling date with his sweetie, or even to the neighborhood block party. After all, your standard polo shirt is so yesterday. If Dad happens to have a thing for old cars, retro barware, or 50s collectibles you will find plenty of retro gift ideas at BowlingShirt.com.

Garlic Crab Recipe
Fresh crabs remind me of summer at the beach, but I have always been a little hesitant to make them at home. After watching the video recipe below, even the kids will want to get involved with making this super easy Garlic Crab dish for Dad this Father’s Day or any special occasion. The video, courtesy of the The Crab Shop, shows just how simple it is to create this tasty dish.
The Garlic Crab recipe only requires a few simple ingredients: hardshell crabs, garlic, cabbage, olive oil and water. The whole thing take minutes to prepare and about 15 minutes to cook. Add some fresh corn on the cob, maybe some baked beans and you have a perfect Father’s Day or summer evening at the beach kind of a meal!
